support wilderness - help us keep
it wild!
Deserts, mountains, eastern forests, alpine meadows, wetlands, prairie ... America's Wilderness heritage comes in many forms. We are privileged to have more than 107 million acres of our wildest lands protected within the National Wilderness Preservation System. They harbor our most sensitive and endangered wildlife, preserve our clean air and water, and provide outstanding opportunities for solitude and primitive recreation found nowhere else.
Wilderness Watch is dedicated to the protection and proper stewardship of our Wilderness and Wild & Scenic Rivers. Using the Wilderness Act (1964) and the Wild & Scenic Rivers Act (1968) as our guides, Wilderness Watch confronts the various threats confronting our last untrammeled lands.
